The Tampa Bay Rays & Seattle Mariners have linked up once again by making a Friday trade that sent OF Luke Raley for 28-year old IF Jose Caballero (who seems to be the Opening Day answer at shortstop for the 2024 season given the Wander Franco situation). That same day, the Rays made another trade, this time with the St. Louis Cardinals by sending RHP Andrew Kittredge (mainstay in the bullpen since 2017!) for OF Richie Palacios.
