After more specifics have leaked from the Wander Franco investigation in the Dominican Republic, we have to discuss the latest updates.
Back in August, allegations were made against Tampa Bay Rays shortstop of having an inappropriate relationship with a minor(s).
Now, details of the investigation are beginning to come to light.
Franco is expected to appear before a judge in the Dominican Republic on Friday, Jan. 5, 2023 -- after that country's authorities detained because he failed to show up to a summons.
Dominican prosecutors have accused Franco of commercial sexual exploitation and money laundering, according to the Associated Press.

• Dec. 28, 2023: Franco fails to meet with D.R. prosecutor
• Jan. 1, 2024: Franco detained in D.R.
• Jan. 3, 2024: Franco accused of sexual exploitation, money laundering
• Jan. 4, 2024: Franco, handcuffed, is transferred to the Office of Permanent Care Services of the Jurisdiction of Puerto Plata to hear about the request for a coercive measure accused of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old minor in this city.
