The Tampa Bay Rays lost the series in Seattle, behind an a bullpen implosion as well as an ill-fated determination on the field by the umpiring crew. The Rays finished their roadtrip on the west by going 3-3 and now head back to Tropicana Field to meet the Phillies. Wander Franco was not selected in the reserves but Shane McClanahan was selected. The Rays also had the great news that both Randy Arozarena would be participating in the HR Derby in the All-Star festivities in Seattle.
