Description
"H.O.P.E. = Hold On Pain Ends!" was the title of the message I delivered to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life Survivors' Banquet on May 2, 2015! For those battling cancer, or other significant health issues, hope is an essential part of their treatment plan. Without hope, there is no point in trying to fight for survival. I believe each of us has great reason to have hope! Listen as I explain more:

H.O.P.E. = Hold On Pain Ends!
What you're going through, is it destroying you or purifying you?. Is it a curse or a blessing? You get to choose.
Many people live in fear--they fear cancer, they fear death & dying. We don't need to live in fear of ANYTHING!
In midst of crisis and pain, how do you hold on to hope? How can you be thankful for what you have?
Breathing exercise: If you can breathe, you have everything you NEED. The rest is bonus for which you should be grateful.
I believe each of us was created for a purpose. The purpose planned by our Creator. I believe that none of us will leave this planet until the moment that purpose has been fulfilled. I don't know what the purpose was for my daughter's life, but I believe her purpose was completed eight days after she was born. That gives me hope.
We are always writing a story. Are you writing a tragedy? The story of grief and loss and suffering? Or a story that is filled with adventure, difficulties and trials, but one in which good triumphs over evil and hope prevails.
Death isn't the end. It is the beginning. Being born was painful, we struggled, we came into a new world, breathed new air, were greet by many who were awaiting our arrival. Death/Dying is really getting ready to breath again.
