Description
Today on Eyes Wide Open, we are going to be talking about the real, dirty behind-the-scenes of reality TV. I'll be sharing some of the experiences that I had on Love Is Blind with Jeremy Hartwell and Dr. Isabelle Morley, who (along with me) are co-founding members of the UCAN Foundation, or the Unscripted Cast Advocacy Network Foundation. We'll talk today about some of the psychological warfare that is unfortunately inherent to filming reality TV, and Dr. Isabelle will weigh in from the perspective of a clinical psychologist. Jeremy and I will also talk a little bit about some of the labor challenges and the lack of access to even basic necessities like food and water. We’ll share why our combined experiences have led us to start the UCAN Foundation and what we're trying to accomplish through it. I hope you come in with an open mind and an open heart to understand why this is important so that we can all leave this conversation with our Eyes Wide Open about what's actually going on behind the scenes of reality TV.
