Description
This week on The Bizzimumzi Podcast Ashley is joined in conversation by Simone De La Rue, celebrity trainer and creator of Body by Simone. Simone talks about her renewed outlook on herself, both body and mind, after she had Oscar, her child. She shares that being a dancer and then being in fitness, her body has always been her tool. She had always been fit and in shape and she had taken that for granted. Then she had a c-section giving birth to Oscar, and she couldn't even sit up out of bed the first couple of days. It took two weeks to walk around the block. She also talks about what it must feel like to start a fitness journey for someone who's never exercised and who hasn't eaten well. She shares how exercise and just being physically fit helps you overcome depression.
