The internet says a lot of things about motherhood –motherhood means we can’t shower, or work out and that it's normal and even expected that we will hide in the closet from our children. But at the exact same time, there is much pressure on the modern mom to do it all. On the one hand, we're offered anxious striving –not rest. But on the other hand, we’re offered a boatload of complacency and grumbling. Neither of them seems great to me.Is there a better way?I would argue that first and foremost, God offers me himself, but he also offers me, as a young mom, delighted motherhood.
