Description
In episode #4, Tanner talks with Alicia Monson, a current Olympic Trainee and former 5-time NCAA All American, Alicia Monson. Alicia competed in cross country and track and the University of Wisconsin where she holds the school and Big Ten record for the women's 3,000 meter race. She also won the 2019 Milrose Games as the 3,000-meter champion and outright won the 2019 and 2018 Big Ten Women's Cross Country meet. Alica now runs professionally for On Athletics Club and is in the midst of training for the 2021 Summer Olympic trials. In her conversation with Tanner, Alicia talks in-depth about how she creates, but more importantly maintains and achieves her goals. She also brings up her routine and how she thinks it's so important to have flexible routines and explains why. Finally, Monson walks us through how she stays calm under pressure, even when the lights are brightest.
