Don't be afraid to ask about your career path options. Understand what's available to you within a company to help determine whether you want to work there.
Always negotiate- by showing how you view your worth you communicate how others should value you.
Be open to different roles, it might give you more work flexibility or open up opportunities to cultivate other valuable skill sets.
Stay engaged, even if you take time ff or reduce your hours. Regularly touch base with firm leadership and industry leaders. Continuously build your network.
Find non-project related ways to stay connected if you work remotely. Look for opportunities to schedule face to face interactions whenever possible.
Look for ways to add value and exceed expectations.
