Description

Recently the community has been asking more behind the scenes of what I'm working on. In this episode, I call up my long time friend and collaborator Christopher Jerard and we dig into a big topic that's been circling around: AI.  We're not AI experts by any strech. Just like everyone else, we're exploring, experimenting, learning what we can do with it, and how it can help. In this episode, come behind the scenes of some of our thoughts and explorations to accelerate time-consuming tasks. We chat about some of our experiements and how our thinking around it is evolving. Christopher Jerard is the Vice President of the Outside Creator Studio, which oversees content marketing, social media, and events for Outside Interactive. He has extensive experience in media and publishing, having previously run a publishing group that produced free ski and snowboard magazines. He also founded the agency Inkwell and was the CEO of ROAM, a venture-backed company.  Highlights from our conversation: The rising popularity of Artificial Intelligence in work How we can use AI to enhance work and productivity in tandem Why expanded access to Machine Learning technology is a good thing The potential risks and downsides of inviting AI into our day-to-day lives Have you been playing around with AI? What do you think? Let us know on social. @chasejarvis @cjroam
