Description

In this lovely interview hosted by Helen Eadie, Karen Kirkness and I get to enjoy talking with Helen about some of what went into writing Spiral Bound, Karen's marvellous book that came out in 2021 - lucky for all of us!It really was a privilege to be part of that process with Handspring Publisging and Helen's thoughtful and beautifully crafted questions really highlight the collective intentions that this book brought forward. It was an incredible triumph over life's ups and downs! As any of my author friends know (so well) it takes something beyond personal commitment to bring a book like this to life. It is blind faith and prayer to honour the difference we can all make to each other, in sharing our experience, knowledge and wisdom in such a way that works for others to use as a resource!!That's the prayer anyway...Karen does it with Grace and Love, which I suspect is the magic ingredient that alchemises the whole process and makes it a joy to read this book. It is a precious tool to work with - as well as a brilliant reference resource! I cannot wait to work with Karen next Wednesday 16th, as our Guest on ABC Masterclass, to set off Series 2, which follows in March. (I almost feel guilty that a subject as serious as anatomy, can bring such joy in the learning process! Seems like an unfair advantage somehow!) Karen just has this magical way...You'll see what I mean if you listen to this...
