John Reininga started in the shopping center business back in 1963 in San Francisco. He founded Reininga Corporation in 1967 and has developed centers in Utah, California, Nevada and Washington.  John tells the stories behind notable projects, including Town Center Corte Madera, one of the earliest mixed-use shopping centers, the origins of Santana Row in San Jose, and the pivotal role Paseo Nuevo played in revitalizing downtown Santa Barbara.   Shelley Reininga is a regional manager at JLL and also John's daughter. She talks about growing up in the real estate industry and the impact her father had on her life and the lives of many others.
