Parents & Addicts in Need’s Founder Flindt Andersen and Jason LaChance sat-down for lots of laughs with Dave Manheim of the Dopey Podcast. A variety of topics are discussed including Dave's personal recovery journey which included MAT (Medically Assisted Treatment) in the form of Methadone which he shares his concerns with long term MAT.

As well Dave expands on the very valid point of comedy and tragedy in recovery stories. The comedy side being that those who survive can speak on their crazy times and the tragedy bein those who don't.

Dopey is an American self-help and comedy podcast about personal experiences of substance use disorders and addiction. The show was formerly co-hosted by Chris, a fellow person in recovery and graduate student from Boston, Massachusetts who sadly passed during a period of relapse.
