Description

Parents & Addicts in Need’s Founder Flindt Andersen and Jason LaChance sat down with Marsha Stone, the CEO and founder of Foundation Stone, a network of boutique, focused programs for individuals and their families struggling with mental health, substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders across the U.S.

We converse about the importance of aftercare in the addiction recovery process and how sometimes the family doesn't understand the continual need of the recovering individual despite a return to physical health.

We also discuss some of our concerns with various harm reduction modalities and the misconception on them being part of the recovery process which includes needle exchanges, the lack of resources to get the individual in need actual treatment and more.
