Today's episode we talk Lure Coursing and Fast Cat  events with Lori Roberts from Kansas. 
We discuss sighthounds and mixed breed dogs that compete, how Nutrition is important and also how to effective prepare your dogs for the sport of Lure Coursing and Fast Cat events. 

Growing up on a farm Lori always had horses and dogs, but horses were her passion. She continued with horses for over 30 years. After a sudden illness, I was forced to ‘hang up my spurs’. Lori was fortunate to get her first Ibizan Hound. Where she started showing conformation and rally obedience, then progressed to lure coursing, open field/hunting and agility. She now proudly owns by 3 Ibizan Hounds and 1 Saluki. Lori completed my Certified Canine Athlete Specialist certification through the Elite K9 Athlete program from Northeast K9 Conditioning Academy.
Lori is passionate about fitness for the lure coursing dog. Watching them fly across the field at top speed is one of the most exhilarating sights to see.
