The Tampa Bay Rays certainly struggled in 2022 offensively. In fact, they dropped in run scored by 200! However, one player that defied the inability to produce offensively was Yandy Diaz. Putting up career numbers in many metrics, while mostly staying healthy, it should not be controversial to say Yandy Diaz was the Rays MVP in 2022.
