Description

In 2019, Lead Pastor Josh Surratt called for a "Healing Service," motivated by desperate hope to see his sister healed of breast cancer.  God orchestrated something much bigger than expected. Through a mutual friend, Josh Surratt was connected to Josh Silverberg who had recently seen miraculous healings as a result of his fervent prayer and belief in Jesus' power.   While Josh Surratt was expecting a couple of hundred people to show up and realized there was well over 1000, the nerves settled in deep.  Especially after finding out over dinner that Josh Silverberg had zero experience leading a healing service.  What happened is more than anyone could ask or imagine.Today you'll hear from 5 people who claim to be miraculously healed.   Story 1, Adam and Lori Fitzgerald: A man is healed of a life-long, painful struggle with hydrocephalus.   Story 2, Tyler and Chris Perstrope:A malicious foul on the b-ball court upends a teen's athletic aspirations.  Unexplained worsening conditions caused by the injury points to a life of physical disability before being prayed for over the phone.Story 3, Deborah Sadr:A woman with life-threatening respiratory/cardiac ailments caused by ongoing exposure (at 13 years-old) to toxic conditions in NYC right after the 9/11 attacks. Symptoms vanished after being prayed for.  Story 4, Caroline and Cole Collins: A woman born with no arches in her feet is prayed over, arches restored in front of eye-witnesses including her brother, Cole. Story 5, Abbie Love: Monthly bouts with debilitating pain disappear after a woman falls asleep watching a recording of the first healing service that was posted on Facebook weeks prior. The Seacoast Podcast: Things You Won't Hear On Sunday captures meaningful – and often challenging -- conversations that happen off the stage amongst the people of Seacoast. Hang with us and guests we love to learn from, including authors, artists, pastors, and many others who share their stories of struggle and oftentimes, how God's grace brought about peace and redemption. We hope listening in to our discussions revolving around church, theology, and culture will feel like slowing down and hanging with friends. You'll be encouraged, laugh, find solidarity with someone else's story, or see things from a new point of view. What if listening to other perspectives was the first step in loving people with a different point of view? We're giving it a shot.
