#Automate2023 edition with Staubli Robotics' Sebastien Schmitt: Welcome to A3 | The Robot Industry Podcast # 96. This is part of our Automate 2023 series of podcasts. Sebastien Schmitt is the Robotics Director, North America but before that he worked as an application engineer, technical support manager and user interface software. Welcome to the podcast! My questions for Sebastien: Can you tell our audience a bit about Staubli Robotics? Where does Staubli fit in the robotics industry? How big is Staubli and how many employees? What are some of the big trends that you are seeing from your big picture perspective? Are there any applications that are growing or not growing? When I think about Staubli, I think high quality, but I also think of food, and cheese handling and pharmaceutical automation, medical device, aseptic environments, and solar cell wafer handling. Are there market segments that you see growing for Staubli? What about Stericlean series of robots? by The Robot Industry Podcast
