Description
In today's episode we're joined by Rachel Bradley (@small_soy) and Australian photographer, or as we like to call her in this episode, a "visual author". Rachel seemingly can shoot any genre and create scenes that tell a descriptive story. Boudoir, products, engagements, landscapes, Rachel has a gift in her ability to notice moments worth capturing and publishes them in an one-of-a-kind artistic form. In this episode we talk about the difference between imposter syndrome, which can be debilitating, and performance anxiety which can be enhancing. We talk about ways we can get ourselves to slow down on set or in the field so that we're honing in on what's important to photograph rather than clicking the shutter at everything and anything like a mad (wo)man. Most of the theme of today's episode focuses on how we can best become visual storytellers with our images. Rather than offer easy low hanging fruit suggestions, we try really hard to discuss the nuances of what really goes into the details of getting that visual story across. You can check out Rachel's website here: https://www.smallsoycreative.com/Thanks to iStorage for sponsoring this episode!Check out their External Password Encrypted Hard Drives : https://www.istorage-us.com/Use Code "TPM15" for a 15% discount!Make a donation via PayPal for any amount you feel is equal to the value you receive from our podcast episodes!
