We're not gonna sugar coat it for you folks, June has been a disaster of a month for as long as anyone can remember, but that was the old Mets. Those were teams that crumbled under pressure and didn't have the INFRASTRUCTURE to dig themselves out of a hole. This team doesn't even have all of its all-stars and even KFC can't be swayed away from the positivity!

The June Swoon is dead and it's Good Juju June from here on out. Is the team running into a buzzsaw having to face the Padres for 7 games? Yup, but guess who the Padres have to face. That's right, the New York Mets, Taijuan Walker and Jacob deGrom.

We're not the healthiest of teams right now, but that doesn't mean we aren't good. The team is solid and will only continue to get better and we need to start acting like it. Who knows? This could end up being our coming out party to the entire league. Maybe the Mets start making teams shake in their boots.
