Description

For a literal calendar year, Travis and Dan have had to "save it for the pod." They had very different reactions when Halloween Kills was released last year and couldn't debate (argue? fight?) the merits of their perspectives until George was ready to hear it. Well, "Bad Takes Die Tonight" as Dan and Travis finally get to defend their positions. Will George pick a side? To give himself the best chance, George watched this movie twice in preparation. That's dedication!
Then, George gets to chime in on his rankings of all of the Halloween movies he has seen. And finally, the guys discuss where they hope Halloween Ends will (and won't!) go when it is released on Friday, October 14, 2022.
Will Travis manage to hold the goalposts in place long enough to make a cogent argument? Will George catch the root of the infamous "Evil Dies Tonight" phrase during his second viewing? Will Dan manage to "Dark Knight" himself into a subtext the guys didn't see coming? The Podcast Tries Tonight!

Titles in the series (100)

Poor George. He's never seen any movies. Rather than mourn their dear friend, Travis and Dan have taken it upon themselves to show him what he is missing. But they don't stop at showing him famous movies! They also help George to understand how each film fits into the Great Narrative of Film. Not only THAT the film of the week is significant, but WHY and HOW. Also, they make jokes and stuff.
