Description

George and Travis are new to this movie, and Dan forewarned them (perhaps to their own detriment) that they were in for more David Cronenberg. But this isn't your Daddy's Cronenberg of The Fly or Scanners. Instead the guys were faced with a serious and ambiguous tale vacillating between gaslighting and a potential double life. But, spoiler alert: They liked it.
Will Travis ever be satisfied with ambiguity? Will George manage to say anything nice about the movie before slipping into criticism? Will Dan find an excuse to reference Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Ok, to be fair, it would be odd to ask any of those very specific questions without the answer to all of them being addressed directly. What are you waiting for!?

Poor George. He's never seen any movies. Rather than mourn their dear friend, Travis and Dan have taken it upon themselves to show him what he is missing. But they don't stop at showing him famous movies! They also help George to understand how each film fits into the Great Narrative of Film. Not only THAT the film of the week is significant, but WHY and HOW. Also, they make jokes and stuff.
