The Big 12 continues to be far and away the best conference in basketball – with the top 6 of Iowa State, Kansas State, Texas, Kansas, TCU, and Baylor creating some separation from the Oklahoma schools, Texas Tech, and West Virginia. The one who emerges is most likely the one who goes 8-0 against those four bottom-feeders.

The ACC is all bunched up in the middle. Clemson leads the way with Virginia one game back. Beyond that top two, there’s a cluster of about eight schools, including Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Duke, NC State, Syracuse, and Florida State, who all appear to be capable of vying for a top-4 ACC seed for the conference tournament.
