Woody Studenmund began playing APBA in 1958, cofounded the North East League in 1960, and remains intensely active in the game. His collection of artifacts owned by company founder J. Richard Seitz is legendary, and his "APBA-tite" for the game undiminished. He also wrote for the APBA Journal beginning in the early 1970s.
Woody is a professor at Occidental College in Southern California, where he teaches applied econometrics and managerial economics.
