Description

From June 2 to 6, 1980, #Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw appeared on Ralph Emery's country music radio show. I found the five LP collection of all five shows several years back and have since collected many other five-record sets of Emery's show from that era.

Bradshaw being my No. 1 all-time sports hero, this is one of my most prized possessions. Terry appeared primarily to promote his then-current single "Until You" but talked about his #NFL future and #football starts of the day. He was particularly candid about the challenge of overcoming the #Rams in Super Bowl 14.

I culled the football-related highlights from the five shows, which do not appear in chronological order. Bradshaw also talked about his peanut butter venture, his friendship with and gift from the Pirates' Willie Stargell, and cautioned against youths starting tackle football at too early an age.
