Description

In the latest episode of Life in Food with Laura Price, I speak about Food and Disability with Chloe Timms, a novelist, podcaster and campaigner who lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Chloe is the author of the feminist dystopian novel The Seawomen, as well as the host of Confessions of a Debut Novelist, a brilliant podcast where she interviews first-time authors like myself about their writing process. In the episode, we talk about how Chloe's disability affects her relationship with food, how restaurants can better serve disabled customers, and how fiction can allow us to escape the restrictions of everyday life.Follow Chloe on Instagram @clotimms.Follow Chloe on Twitter @clotimms.Buy The Seawomen on Bookshop.org.Listen to Confessions of a Debut Novelist on Apple Podcasts.Visit Chloe's website.About Chloe Timms: Chloe Timms is a writer from the Kent coast.
