Friends of the Rosary:
Happiness is temporary but joy is eternal. In today's reading (Jn 15:9-11), Jesus Christ reveals to us the secret of joy: "Remain in my love".
A jumpstart in the love of God, his grace, and joy is the Emmaus Retreats, organized by laypeople. They are a unique, life-transformational experience for anyone needed to renew or strengthen his or her trust in Jesus Christ.
Emmaus retreats are based on one episode in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 24: 13-35). On the road to Emmaus, two disciples encounter the risen Christ in a profound manner.
This weekend 28 walking disciples of the Greenwich, Connecticut area will likely see their hearts touched by the Holy Spirit.
Today, these brave men are joining us in the Rosary Network to pray with us. We dedicate this Rosary to the holy intention of the retreat. In addition, we encourage members of our community to consider joining an Emmaus event in your area. It's a not to be missed retreat.
