Description

[Comment: Resurrection and Patience]
Friends of the Rosary:
Jesus revealed himself to his disciples for the third time after being raised from the dead, as we read in the Gospel today (Jn 21:1-14). This time, at the Sea of Tiberias, while they were fishing. John, the beloved disciple, quickly identified that it was Jesus who was with them, but the others didn’t realize it. Maybe they needed a little bit more faith — as we all do.
The Resurrection at Easter reminds us that it is worth it to be faithful and patient. Through patience, we strengthen our character, become an example to others and please the Lord.
Another virtue to cultivate this Easter is purity — purity of mind and body in order to be in perfect union with Christ, as the followers at the Sea of Tiberias.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we renew our commitment to the true Christian life.
