Description
[Comment: Resurrected Body]
Friends of the Rosary:
As Peter explains in the first ready today (Acts 3:13-15, 17-19), "you put the author of life to death, but God raised him from the dead; of this we are witnesses."
Luke the Apostle narrates one of the apparitions of the risen Jesus to his eleven disciples (Luke 24:35–48). Jesus Christ tells them: "Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have." And as he said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
The evangelist states that the apostles were "incredulous for joy and amazed."
Jesus’ body is transformed and transfigured, independent of the structures of space and time.
His resurrected, spiritual body is a foretaste of what the Father intends for all of us, exactly like the saints, our loved ones, and anyone who died faithfully in Christ and Mary.
Ave Maria!
