Description

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a few thoughts on Tua Tagovailoa's ugly performance in the Miami Dolphins' Sunday Night Football loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Tua looked like an MVP candidate for about two months but he's really struggled the last 2.5 games without his starting left tackle. On the flip side, Justin Herbert was phenomenal for Los Angeles. This game should have sealed it the Herbert vs Tua debate once and for all; 'Exposed' might be too strong of a word but Tua definitely isn't an MVP-caliber quarterback. Sticking in the AFC, Mike White lost the battle against the Buffalo Bills but he may have won the war and cemented his status as the New York Jets' starting quarterback moving forward. The way White battled back from brutal shot after brutal shot was nothing short of heroic. The biggest story of the weekend, however, has to be what Brock Purdy did in his debut start for the San Francisco 49ers. Purdy was lights out in their win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It's not far-fetched to say that Purdy could lead the Niners to the NFC Championship Game (even without Deebo Samuel). Later, Jason uses all the NFL Week 14 results to do a quick lookahead to Week 15. The NFL Playoff picture is starting to take shape, and more importantly, there are a handful of juicy betting lines that seem ripe for the taking if bettors can get in early. Finally, J-Mac closes the show with a deep dive into all the biggest headlines surrounding the World Cup, including the unfortunate death of journalist Grant Wahl and the Jason's viral report surrounding the infamous USMNT vote that almost sent Gio Reyna home from Qatar.
