On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) get things started by sharing their thoughts on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers' choke job on Sunday night against the Detroit Lions. Making matters worse, Rodgers once again helped push the tired narrative that this could be his final game as a member of the Packers. Will he retire? Is he going to demand a trade? The smart money says neither. It would be absolutely crippling from a salary cap perspective for Rodgers to play anywhere but Green Bay in 2023. Sticking in the NFL, Black Monday is officially upon us and the Houston Texans' Lovie Smith was the first victim of the day.
