Description
For World Autism Month, I interviewed Adam Griffin Senior Consultant Occupational Therapist with Reach Out, on The Spencer Lodge Podcast. This was a topic that was close to my heart and I shared stories about how my sister, who has Asperger’s, was excluded from some aspects of society. Children with Autism don’t have anything wrong with them. They just have a different way of seeing the world and they operate differently. A metaphor that Adam uses to describe this is the difference between the operating system of a Mac and a PC. Adam discussed how we can better understand and support families and people with autism.
