Description
I’ve always had an interest in the way that people think—the successful and the not so much. This led me to analyze my own thinking, and I noticed that I didn’t think like an entrepreneur. I realized that I needed to grow in my mindset. That’s where Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich came in. His principles messed with my head in the best way. He taught me that success goes to those who becomes success-conscious. Here are the 6 steps he outlines to think and grow rich: #1. Determine the exact amount of money you want. #2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return. #3. Have a definite date. #4. Have a definite plan. #5. Wrap all this up into a clear, concise statement. #6. Read your written statement aloud twice daily—once before bed, once after you wake up in the morning—and as you read, see, feel, and believe yourself to already be in possession of that money. It is that 6th step that we can’t forget. None of the other steps will matter if we aren’t repeating the statement to ourselves with emotion attached to it.
