Show host and producer Chris O'Regan chats to Dave Hawkins of Jim Jams Games about the development of a clutch of games directly inspired by 8-bit titles.


While design sensibilities have evolved significantly over the past 30 years, some positive aspects of the 'old school' have fallen by the wayside. In an attempt to restore elements of videogames of old and bring them to the attention of a contemporary audience, Jim Jams Games attempts to recreate the ancient magic of 8-bit on modern platforms. Games covered in this episode are Amazing Adventures of Lady Fanny Weatherstone, Firebird, Solar Wind and The Eye of Borrak.
