In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talk about the Capitals games over the weekend. The Caps picked up a big win over the Calgary Flames on Friday night. The Caps took down the flames by a score of 3-0. Darcy Kuemper got the shutout. The game saw goals by Alex Ovechkin, (his 791st) Evgeny Kuzetsov and TJ Oshie.
The Capitals luck ran out on Saturday as they fell to the Metro Division leading New Jersey Devils by a score of 5-1. John Carlson was the only Capitals player that could find the back of the net. Chalie Lindgren was in net and made 24 saves on 29 shots. Former Capital goalie Vitek Vanecek was in net and was happy to pickup a win against his former team.
The Caps play the Canucks and Kraken next in the west coast trip.
