Born in Sri Lanka, Hellenic and his family fled the war when he was 3 years of age, subsequently landing in Canada as refugees. Always an animal lover, he (along with his vegan wife and children) care for 14 animals both indoors and outdoors, including racoons, opossums, and squirrels. Hellenic credits his entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to his parents, who he watched run a successful furniture store. Early in his career, he gained a tremendous amount of professional event experience through the production of over 200 events (featuring notable artists like DJ Khaled, LeBron James, and French Mon-tana).
