Description
Mike Rawlings - is my guest this week. Mike played for Wadebridge Camels, Cornish Pirates, Launceston and Cornwall. And he's now travelled full circle by returning to Wadebridge as a player-coach. This interview was recorded in September of 2000 and 21 when Mike welcomed me to The Camels during The Great Rugger Run. We chatted about a career-threatening injury, being academy guinea pigs at The Pirates, early career weight issues, growing as a human at the Cornish All Blacks. There are some cracking stories about bus trips and training ground scraps and Mike's pride in playing for Cornwall. We then discussed coaching philosophies and how player management has changed over the years. Mike can be contacted on Instagram - @mickyrawlings and Wadebridge Camels - @upthecamels PODCAST KIT Everything I use to create, edit and produce this podcast can be found on my Creating a Podcast (https://www.amateurrugbypodcast.com/creating-a-podcast/) page.
