Inside today's Locked on Canadiens

With the Canadiens playing in back to back games, there was some concern if they would hold up well against a Canucks team looking for another win as well. Those concerns appeared to be unnecessary as Montreal romped to a 5-2 win thanks to another huge effort by the young core of the team. Nick Suzuki scored 55 seconds in to set the tone, and a pair of goals from Kirby Dach helped the Habs coast to a second straight win. Even with the advanced metrics looking ugly, Scott breaks down why this game was never even close and why it's okay to enjoy the wins when they happen.

With the World Juniors tournament starting in just over a month there are early projections coming out for Team Canada and others. While Joshua Roy and Riley Kidney appear to be early favourites to make the team, Owen Beck looks to be a longshot right now. Is Beck being snubbed, or is this a case of Hockey Canada over thinking the roster again?
