Allegedly, this is to help eliminate (White Supremacist) discrepancies in compensation between employees who perform the same job. New York Public radio has been discussing this issue for at least a year, and during one of their previous reports, the emphasized that the "gap" between male and female salaries could be corrected easily - "over night." However, correcting the difference between non-white male and White male salaries will take substantially more time and energy. No one explained why correctly compensating non-white males is a "hard sell," and the flagrant non-white misandry in labor is generally ignored.
