Description

It is estimated that Multiple Sclerosis (MS) affects up to 2.5 million people, making it one of the most widespread, disabling neurological conditions affecting young adults in the world. In the U.S alone, up to 200 new cases of MS are diagnosed each week. Dr Terry Wahls was one of those statistics. Dr Wahls is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa where she conducts clinical trials. She is also a patient with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis, which confined her to a tilt-recline wheelchair for four years. Dr. Wahls restored her health using a diet and lifestyle program she designed specifically for her brain and now pedals her bike to work each day.Find today's full transcript and show notes here: https://www.fxmedicine.com.au/content/overcoming-multiple-sclerosis-dr-terry-wahls *****DISCLAIMER: The information provided on FX Medicine is for educational and informational purposes only.
