VGK's two "rookies" Logan Thompson and Paul Cotter led the Golden Knights to a 1-0 shutout win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Thompson made 25 saves, some spectacular, and Cotter scored on a 2-on-1 breakaway for the game's only goal. The Golden Knights did not play well and were lucky to hang on for the win. Chicago goalie Alex Stalock kept the Blackhawks in the game saving 36 of 37 shots on net. We preview VGK's game Saturday against the much-improved Seattle Kraken.
