We thought Adin Hill would be pushing Logan Thompson for the top goalie spot in the preseason, but that has not been the case. Thompson is the clear-cut starter, and it's not even close. Hill continues to struggle and gave up 7 goals against his former team, San Jose on Friday night. He has not looked sharp in net. Michael Hutchinson, who we thought was vying for the backup role, was put on waivers. Laurent Brossoit is still out and hasn't appeared in camp and Robin Lehner is out for the season. Goaltending is the top concern in camp. We also talk about the latest round of cuts and our evaluation of the team through four preseason games.
