Description
Last year in Week 17, these two teams were facing off to see who would earn the NFC West title. One year later, the Seahawks have locked up the top spot in the division while the 49ers have fallen to the cellar. However, it's been due in large part to the 49ers suffering through a historic number of injuries for their franchise. C.J. Beathard was the third-string quarterback at the start of the season. Their running back, Jeff Wilson, was the fourth starting running back. Two matchups to watch for is how the 49ers respond in the secondary after a big game from D.K. Metcalf the last time the two teams faced and how the Seahawks use Jamal Adams against George Kittle. Akash Anavarathan, co-host of the Shanaplan podcast, joins the show to talk about whether or not Richard Sherman has played his final snaps with the 49ers and perhaps in the NFL.
