Description
With less than three weeks to go until the 2019 NFL Draft, Brandan Schulze and Rob Staton will be exploring different Seattle Seahawks mock draft scenarios every Monday. With only three Mondays leading up to April 25, this week's show kicks off with the likely scenario of trading back to acquire additional picks. Rob's seven-round mock draft for the Seahawks also covers the first 103 picks so we can see which players the Seahawks could be missing out on based on who they select.
The first trade with Kansas City gives Seattle an additional third- and sixth-round pick, and a trade back with the Cardinals gives the Seahawks an additional selection in the fourth. Those moves would give Seattle seven picks to work with and a full day to make a decision on the first pick of the second round.
The first pick goes to Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry, who is reported to be coming to the Seahawks facility for an official visit.
Tune is as Rob goes into depth on the reasoning behind the first three picks, including defensive end Charles Omenihu of Texas and safety Marvell Tell of USC. Defensive tackle Armon Watts of Arkansas, tight end Kaden Smith of Stanford, defensive tackle Greg Gaines of Washington and cornerback Derreck Thomas of Baylor round out the list of picks.
