Sure we all know that doesn't matter, just as penalties and replay reviews in the preseason penalties don't matter, but we all manage to get worked up -- because football is BACK!
One of the reasons why the Seahawks were able to get the 22-14 win was because of their depth this year. When we watched the team in 2018, they struggled to hold teams and put points up on the board late in games. That wasn't the case against the Broncos as Paxton Lynch had a solid game against his former team, even bowling over third stringers to get into the end zone for a touchdown. Let's see how he does against the Vikings second string defense before we start to get excited about his potential as a backup for Russell Wilson.
