One year ago, Houston Texans fans were wondering if a deal would be signed to allow Jadeveon Clowney to stay with the team under a long-term deal. On the final day of the franchise tag deadline, the reports were that Clowney and the Texans weren't even close to coming to terms on a contract. The Seahawks, however, don't have the luxury of using the franchise tag to extend the negotiation period.
Matt Weston of Battle Red Radio, the Houston Texans Community on SB Nation, joined the podcast to talk about what led up to the trade to the Seattle Seahawks. Matt points out that Clowney's strengths often don't show up in the box score, but that won't hinder his ability to get a big contract in the coming weeks.
