The Miami Hurricanes have suffered another key injury at wide receiver. Jacolby George broke his thumb against Texas A&M and will be out indefinitely. The news was first reported by Canes County. George joins Xavier Restrepo on the injury list. Receiver was already a question mark for Miami and now the situation is bordering on crisis. Could Miami consider converting players like tight end Jaleel Skinner and cornerback Malik Curtis to receiver? Or do they just need to rely on players like Key’Shawn Smith, Brashard Smith, Michael Redding, Frank Ladson and Colbie Young to step up more consistently?
Host Alex Donno breaks down the issue and recounts what offensive coordinator Josh Gattis said about the receiver room on Monday. The group had several drops on Saturday and according to Gattis, ran a few routes incorrectly on big third downs. Tyler Van Dyke didn’t have a great game, but perhaps the issues at receiver had more to do with it than we realized. 
Donno also breaks down what Mario Cristobal and coach Gattis had to say about Miami’s troubles in the red zone. They didn’t attack with the passing game because A&M was dropping 8 men into coverage. Meanwhile, the defense was great and Cristobal says the defensive secondary is the unit that has shown the biggest improvement. Donno shares a couple of recruiting notes on linebacker Stanquan Clark and wide receiver Micah Mays. Will Miami try to flip them from Louisville and Wake Forest?
