Our shining Star gets deep and real about why she strives to make a difference for the Latinx community, in an educational sense. Estrellita knows graduate school is a long journey and not everyone has the opportunity to study past their bachelor's degree. She knows where her privilege stands with being able to continue on with school. Although the word #PRIVILEGE can be negative, it doesn't always have to be if it is used in a positive sense. We all have some sort of privilege in our lives and it's best that we recognize it. To then continue to grow from it while inspiring and empowering others.
