Description

Hola mi gente, I hope you are doing well! I have missed you. It has been a fun and busy Latine/Hispanic Heritage month! Regardless I am feeling grateful for all the upcoming opportunities for all of us! In this episode we are talking about my first trip where I was personally invited, as the Creator of Cafecito con Estrellita. Also, I had the honor to attend The OpEd Project: Write To Change The World - Intensive Writers Workshop on a full scholarship. I am going to tell you how you can apply to. Being able to share a space with people of color who used their writing to make a difference in this world, is exactly what I needed, as I continue working on my College Book for the next generation of Latinas. I am so happy to have you here, thank you for sharing this space with me.

¡Hola mi gente! Cafecito con Estrellita® , is a Latinx podcast that guides first-generation scholars through the path of education. Let's face it, being the first in your family to do anything can feel nerve wrecking, especially coming from a Latinx household. CCE’s mission it to be a resource for all of mi gente, and break down all the social and academic stigmas/cycles that try to limit what we can accomplish.
