One of the biggest mental health disasters created when we gave our kids access to social media was the onslaught of cyber-bullying. And when parents ask me, "Why are kids so mean to each other today?" I quickly point out "Kids? Have you been on adult Facebook lately?" We can't expect our kids to be kind, understanding, empathetic humans when that isn't be modeled for them by adults online and off. But dealing with bullies is both an art and science and my guest today started a mission to eradicate bullying by empowering the bullied so the bullies lose their power.
